While it may be important to focus on all of the ongoing inequality we women face on a daily basis worldwide, we also need to celebrate the progress we're making and the fact that we aren't the only gender that has the opportunity to be a part of this movement.
A long time ago, if you were considered a feminist, you were also considered a lesbian. However, these days, not only is the LGBTQ+ community a valid part of this movement, but we also appreciate a variety of different feminists and sexes that we never would've thought of appreciating in the past.
Nevertheless, even with this progress, we need to really focus on equality.
At first look, you may think that only women can be feminists. However, somewhat recently, the community has been accepting a variety of males. Yet, before we discuss this topic, let's define feminism, or what a feminist is. Based on research, the definition of a feminist is when "men and women should be equal, and by extension, that we should be taking action to ensure this is the case."(https://plan-uk.org/blogs/men-can-be-feminists-too)
You may be confused by this, however, it's true, MEN CAN BE FEMINISTS TOO. They not only suffer from discrimination, just society always has a stereotypical image of what both men and women should be. In this stereotype, men are supposed to be manly, and basically the provider of the family who protect everyone. Women, however, are supposed to be helpless housewives who only support the kids and clean the house. Based on this stereotype, we all already know that women are more discriminated against, however, we still need to realize that we can't be the only main gender in this world. YES, we may suffer more than men and have to suffer through things such as rape, and childbirth, and just being women or women of color. However, men have to suffer through things such as unnatural abnormal sexual intercourse in schools (being sodomized), having to act all manly when they really want to be feminine, and more.
Based upon all of this information, you may still be a bit confused, but hopefully, you're aware. You're aware that while both sexes may suffer differently, we should all support one another.
